Contact and payment
- Payment can be made at reservation time or before your arrival.
- Either by bank credit card Visa or Mastercard (we have a bank approval of distance sale).
- On the spot at your arrival and before taking charge of the vehicle, only by bank card or by cash. (Cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard ).
- No payment by cheque is accepted as an accidental damage excess guarantee. (See conditions)
- The rental contract is made at the delivery of the vehicle.
- A credit card is required to make a reservation.
- The hirer named in the rental contract must be able to prove, if necessary and in particular at the request of the lessor or his representative, his personal details (passport, identity card or any other document attesting to the authenticity of his personal details).
- It is possible to have 2 additional drivers for a fee of 20 € per additional driver and for the entire rental period.
- Driving licenses are required for all vehicle rentals.
- For all those who are not citizens of the European Union, an International Driving Permit is strongly recommended to facilitate translation and must be accompanied by the National Driving Permit.

- The reference of a credit card is mandatory for the guarantee of deductible related to the rental of the vehicle, obligatory taxes additional options or any other expenses not settled at the time of the reservation or remaining to be settled after report of return of the vehicle.
- An insurance is included at the beginning of the hiring, including a variable frankness according to the category of rented vehicles, this last remaining with the load of the tenant in the event of disaster undergone on the rented vehicle (Accident with a third not identified or not ensured, damage of the vehicle without immediately solvent third, flight and fire).
That is, 1300 € for categories A-B-C, and 1500 € for category D-E-F.
A deductible reduction can be applied for an additional fee of €8 per day of rental, reducing the deductible to €800 for categories A-B and €15 for categories C-D-E. - Les cartes bancaires haut de gamme telles que, Visa Premier et Affaires, Gold Mastercard et Affaires, Visa Infinite, Business Card dispensent d’assurance complémentaire et couvrent la franchise dans sa totalité en cas de règlement effectué avec l’une de ses cartes et ce obligatoirement au moment la prise en charge du véhicule.
This provision applies only to categories A-B-C, excluding categories D-E-F. - A local tax of 4% will be charged in addition to the rental rate.
Livraisons - retour - restitutions - équipements
- The vehicles are delivered in perfect working order, clean and with a full tank of fuel.
- A report on the general condition of the vehicle, its equipment and accessories is established and notified to the rental contract, at the start of the rental as well as at the return of the vehicle at the end of the rental.
- The missing gasoline with the restitution of the vehicle will be invoiced for its complement, remaining with the load of the tenant indicated with the rental agreement.
- Baby or child seats, also booster seats, to CE standards are available for 10 € per rental.
- All vehicles are delivered with a spare tire and its mounting tools, or equipped with a "repair and inflation kit". If one or all of these items are found to be missing when the vehicle is returned, they will be replaced at the expense of the lessee, who will be charged for the itemized invoice specified in the rental contract.
- The same applies to vehicles equipped with "anti-theft nuts" whose removal cap is located with the spare wheel and which, in the event of loss, will require the replacement of all the protections fixed to the 4 wheels of the rented vehicle. It will be necessary to proceed to the replacement of this equipment by means of a detailed invoicing paid or deducted at the expense of the tenant designated in the rental contract.
- A fixed surcharge of 70 € will also be applied for vehicles returned particularly dirty inside, (Interior and trunk of the vehicle).
- The delivery and the return of the vehicles are free 7 days a week and this until 20 H.
- A surcharge of 20 € will be applied for transfer or long distance travel outside the agency.
Cancellation
- In case of cancellation within 72 hours, 1 day's rental will be charged at the normal daily rate for the category of vehicle previously reserved.
- Rentals that have started are not reimbursed or discounted in case the designated renter discontinues the contract concluded between him and the SARL ESCALE RENTAL.
